Every Side By Side classroom is led by educators specially selected and trained to support emotional regulation, social-emotional growth, positive behavior development, and classroom success.

Some children simply need a different kind of support to succeed.
Many benefit from:
Smaller groups
More structure
Stronger routines
Sensory support
Movement breaks
Emotional regulation support
Individualized attention
Calmer learning environments
Unfortunately, many families are left feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and out of options when traditional childcare settings are not the right fit for their child’s needs.
That’s where Side-by-Side comes in.
Side-by-Side Classroom Support at Geaux Academy is a specialized small-group classroom program designed for children ages 2–12 who benefit from additional support within a structured learning environment.

We Help Children Build:
Emotional regulation
Classroom confidence
Social skills
Communication

Through:

STEP 1 — Consultation & Intake
We meet with families to learn about the child’s strengths, challenges, routines, and support needs.
STEP 2 — Classroom Placement
Children are placed into a small-group support classroom designed to provide structure, guidance, and individualized support.
STEP 3 — Ongoing Communication & Support
We work closely with families through regular communication, support strategies, and classroom updates throughout the child’s journey.

Because every child deserves:
✔️ Support without shame
✔️ Structure without exclusion
✔️ Patience without punishment
✔️ Guidance without giving up
Many children struggle not because they are “bad children”…
But because the environment may not be built for the level of support they need.
